[OPEN] MON~ SUN: 8:30am - 21:30pm [LOCATION] 189-5 Jangchungdong 2(i)-ga, Jung-gu, Seoul [TYPE] CAFE & BAKERY Oldest Bakery In Seoul Taeguk Dang I was so excited to visit one of the popular bakery in Seoul. When you enter, you can see lots of breads and cookies ready to be sold in the showcase. It was interesting for younger generation like us to see how the packaging was antique and old. Personally, the packaging was not delicate but it was a good chance to look back how package design was looked on 1950s. This is one of the most popular menu in Tae guk dang bakery. Monaka ice cream. There are two kinds of monaka ice cream One with original style milk ice cream and one with layer of glutinous rice cake. The prirce of these ice cream are 2000won and 2500won. We ordered piece of pecan pie, a yellow mont blanc with whipped cream on the top, and a hani citron. For my personal taste, all desserts in Taeguk Dang is not sweet compare to other bakeries...
